Stone Wall Stables is offering six camps this year! Please view the camp descriptions and then complete the registration. You will receive an invoice for camp in your email.
Tiny Tots Pony Camp
When: July 18th to July 19th from 9:00 am – 11:00 am or 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
*Campers will be split before the start of camp and informed of either attending the AM or PM camp session the week prior to the beginning of camp.
Cost: $100 until May 1st, then $150
Tiny Tots camp is for children ages 4 to 7. Campers will enjoy daily crafts, games, and riding time. A fun filled introduction for children who are ready to learn about horses.
Beginner Camp
When: July 11th to July 15th from 9:00 am – noon* or 1 pm – 4 pm*
*Campers will be split before the start of camp and informed of either attending the AM or PM camp session the week prior to the beginning of camp.
Cost: $200 until May 1st, then $250
Beginner camp is for children ages 6 and up. Campers will enjoy daily crafts, games, and riding experiences all while learning all about horses. A fun filled week for children who are excited about horses but not necessarily able to tack up and trot on their own.
Advanced Beginner Camp
When: June 13th – 17th from 9 am to 1 pm FULL
Cost: $275 until May 1st, then $325
This camp is designed for our riders who are able to tack up mostly on their own as well as walk and trot. These students should be taking regular lessons. Campers will ride 1-2x each day, help with some stable duties, complete crafts, learn horsemanship skills, and have a break for lunch. Rides will consist of flat exercises, lunging, trail riding, and games on horseback. Campers who own horses are welcome to bring them for the week. (Proof of vaccinations and Coggins are required.) Campers should bring a packed lunch.
Intermediate Camp
When: June 27th to July 1st from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (one spot left!)
Cost: $300 until May 1st, then $350
This camp is for riders who are able to tack up on their own as well as walk, trot, and canter. Our goal is to advance each rider through a week of strength, endurance, and skills training. Each group lesson will be adjusted to individual riders in order to help them excel. Campers will ride twice each day, help with daily stable duties, increase their horsemanship skills, and have a break for lunch. Rides will include flat exercises, gymnastics, trail riding, and games on horseback. Campers who own horses are welcome to bring them for the week. (Proof of vaccinations and Coggins are required.) Campers should bring a packed lunch.
Advanced Camp
When: June 21 – 25th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm with XC schooling at Rolling Rock on June 25th
Cost: $300 until May 1st, then $350
Advanced intermediate campers who volunteer at previous camps can earn WPEA LEGS credit.
Advanced camp is for riders who are able to tack their own horse and jump a course. Each day will consist of two riding lessons, helping with daily stable duties, and a break for lunch. Each day’s rides will differ in skills and aim to advance riders from one day to the next. Lessons will be tailored to fit each rider and horse combination. A variety of different lessons are planned including gymnastics, courses, cross country, and a hunter pace. Campers who own horses are welcome to bring them for the week. (Proof of vaccinations and Coggins are required.)
Adult Camp
When: July 30th to 31st from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Cost: $200 until May 1st, then $250
Adult Camp is new for this year. Lessons will be tailored to fit each rider and horse combination. A variety of different lessons are planned and may include: gymnastics, courses, cross country, a hunter pace. Campers who own horses are welcome to bring them for the week. (Proof of vaccinations and Coggins are required.)
Each rider who is new to Stone Wall Stables must have a signed liability release on file. Please print, complete, and turn in on your first day of camp.
